Property Information
GOLF CART: The charger for the golf cart is located in the black shelving unit. To check how much charge is left, look at the fuel gauge. If you need to charge the golf cart plug one end into charger, the other into the receptacle in the golf cart, it is under (on the outside) of the drivers seat) and plug into the outlet outside the front of the cottage. We ask that you do not charge the golf cart overnight to avoid the charger being stolen.
IMPORTANT: Only people 25 years of age who have completed the Golf Cart Agreement and provided a copy of their drivers license may operate the golf cart.
TV: There are two TVs in the cottage. One is in the add-a-room and one is in the main bedroom. The add-a-room TV has access to cable. The bedroom TV does not. You may access your own Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon accounts through the apps on both TVs. Please make sure to log out from prior to checking out.
Add a room TV: The small one controls everything; power, volume and the ability to change to HDMI source. From the Home Screen, click the exit button (beside the persons head), then you’ll be able to click HDMI to get to Cogeco cable. The large remote controls the cable stations. To go to Netflix, click the home button on the small remote.
Main bedroom TV: There is one remote. It works everything on the TV including power, volume and app login.
AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING: The cottage has split duct air conditioning. Unit 1 is in the add-a-room. Unit 2 is behind the dining table in the kitchen/dining area.
The add-a-room remote is located on the black shelving unit under the TV. Please return it to the same location once you have finished using it.
Dining remote is located in the right side top drawer of the coffee bar. Please return it to the same location once you have finished using it.
The units are currently set to air conditioning at 78. If they would like to adjust the temp, use the middle button arrows up or down. To change to heat, press mode. You may need to cycle through fan, auto, a/c until you get to heat. It will show on the remote. Adjust the temperature as needed. There is a power button on the top to turn the unit off and/or on as needed.
STOVE/OVEN: To use the stove, turn the burner knob to on and light the burner using a lighter. A lighter can be found in the drawers beside the fridge. The oven is also lit with a lighter as it is also propane.
BBQ: The BBQ runs on propane. The BBQ also needs to be lit by opening the propane valve then lighting with a lighter. We endeavour to maintain the propane. However, the propane tank may not have fuel left from a previous guest. If you find there is no more propane, please take the tank to get filled. Once done, send us a copy of the receipt and we will reimburse you. We are happy to loan you our BBQ. Please scrape/brush off all grills and any large amount of food or grease that may have fallen beneath during your stay.
PARKING: Parking is available for up to one (1) car. If you have another vehicle, you may park it in the public parking.
FUSE/BREAKER PANEL and WATER SHUT OFF: The fuse/breaker panel is located in the main bedroom on the wall with ship lap. The water shut off is outside to the right of the trailer when looking at the front.
SMOKING: Our home is a non-smoking which includes cigarettes, cannabis and vaping. Due to possible allergies of future vacationers, we ask you please smoke/vape outside of the property and ensure you clean up all debris and paraphernalia. If we find there was smoking or vaping of any substance inside the property during your stay, there will be an additional $250 clean up fee.
PETS: This home is a pet-free home. If you have brought a pet without approval, you will be asked to leave, forfeiting all monies paid and you will be charged an additional $500 plus any applicable taxes. In the event we are notified of an unauthorized pet after your departure the $500 plus applicable taxes will apply.
