The modem is located near the TV. If you experience any connectivity issues, please do not reset the modem. Try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in to have it reset itself and try again in a few minutes.
GOLF CART: To check how much charge is left, look at the fuel gauge. If you need to charge the golf cart plug one end into charger, the other into the receptacle in the golf cart. Please make sure you plug the golf cart in every night to recharge.
IMPORTANT: Only people 25 years of age who have completed the Golf Cart Agreement and provided a copy of their drivers license may operate the golf cart.
TV: You may access your own Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon accounts through the apps through the Smart TV. Please make sure to log out prior to checking out.
REMOTES: You’ll find a remote for the TV, living room light/fan, and electric fireplace.
AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING: The cottage has central air conditioning and heating. We ask kindly not to adjust the temperature.
STOVE/OVEN: To use the stove, turn the burner knob to on and light the burner using a lighter. A lighter can be found in the drawers beside the fridge. The oven is also lit with a lighter as it is also propane.
BBQ: The BBQ runs on propane. The BBQ also needs to be lit by opening the propane valve then lighting with a lighter. We endeavour to maintain the propane. However, the propane tank may not have fuel left from a previous guest. If you find there is no more propane, please take the tank to get filled. Once done, send us a copy of the receipt and we will reimburse you. We are happy to loan you our BBQ. Please scrape/brush off all grills and any large amount of food or grease that may have fallen beneath during your stay.
PARKING: Parking is available for up to one (2) car.
FUSE/BREAKER PANEL and WATER SHUT OFF: The fuse/breaker panel is located in the main bedroom on the wall. The water shut off is outside.
SMOKING: Our home is a non-smoking which includes cigarettes, cannabis and vaping. Due to possible allergies of future vacationers, we ask you please smoke/vape outside of the property and ensure you clean up all debris and paraphernalia. If we find there was smoking or vaping of any substance inside the property during your stay, there will be an additional $250 clean up fee.
PETS: As long as you have been given approval, your furry friends are welcome to stay. Please make sure to clean up after your pet. If there are any pet messes left there will be an additional $100 charge. Also, all dogs must be leased or under supervision at all times while on Sherkston Shores Resort grounds.
Even though this is a pet friendly home, if you have brought a pet without approval, you will be asked to leave, forfeiting all monies paid and you will be charged an additional $500 plus any applicable taxes. In the event we are notified of an unauthorized pet after your departure the $500 plus applicable taxes will apply.
Check out is at 10:00 am on your scheduled departure date. Unless you have paid for and/or made specific arrangements for a late departure, please do not extend your stay. Housekeeping will arrive shortly after your departure and is on a tight timeline to prepare the home for our next guests. This could result in an extra charge of $50/half hour.
We greatly appreciate your assistance and cooperation!
Thank you for staying with us and have a safe trip home.
